Faith. Storytelling. Hip-Hop.
Zaire Ink is a hip-hop artist rooted in faith, storytelling, and honest self-reflection. Blending his background in spoken word and youth mentorship, he brings a rare authenticity to his work, pairing vulnerable lived experience with sharp lyricism and spiritual conviction.
His debut solo album When You Meet Yourself is a 10-track exploration of mental health, hope, and redemption. Divided into three chapters: Salvation, Sanctification, and Glorification, the project traces his journey of struggle, surrender, and renewal.
Before his solo career, Zaire co-founded Two World Creatives, an artist collective, through which he released two conceptual EPs, Wait and Molded. These projects helped to establish the foundation of his voice: honest, faith-driven, and unapologetically bold in to speaking truth with reverence and rawness.
A two-time YYC Music Award winner, Zaire has been featured on Global News, CBC Radio, CBC Searchlight, and in the Calgary Herald, performing at venues such as the Saddledome and Arts Commons. As a mentor, he has led writing workshops across Western Canada, helping youth build confidence and identity through creative expression.
At the core of Zaire Ink’s artistry is a simple belief: faith and authenticity belong in hip-hop. His work doesn’t avoid pain, instead it transforms it, inviting listeners to reflect, heal, and find hope again.
